Gausman Camargo Inciarte Lead Braves To Victory Over The Milwaukee Brewers On August 10, 2018!
The Braves and Brewers open a three-game set tonight with the fifth meeting between the clubs this season. Milwaukee took three of four games at Miller Park, July 5-8, outscoring the Braves 23-14 in the series.
The Braves have won 17 of the last 25 games with Milwaukee in Atlanta dating to July 18, 2010. They took two of three here last season in Milwaukee’s first visit to SunTrust Park.
RHP Kevin Gausman has never faced Milwaukee. Tonight will also mark Gausman’s first ever start in Atlanta. He faced Atlanta once in Baltimore and made his Braves debut last Saturday in New York. The Braves acquired him on July 31 from the Orioles.
RHP Freddy Peralta beat Atlanta, 5-4, on July 6, tossing 6.0 innings and allowed three hits and one run, earned. The rookie is 2-1 with a 3.49 ERA (11 ER/28.1 IP) in six road starts this season, but has not won away from Miller Park since June 19
at Pittsburgh.
