Braves Select Michael Reed OF And Evan Phillips!
Atlanta Braves News For July 2, 2018!
According to Mark Bowman and Steve Adams, the Atlanta Braves have made a few roster moves before tonight’s game against the New York Yankees.
The Braves have selected the contract of outfielder Michael Reed from Triple-A Gwinnett. They have also optioned pitcher Matt Wisler back to Gwinnett. In addition to this move the Braves have placed pitcher Peter Moylan on the 10-day DL due to a right forearm strain and have recalled Evan Phillips a right handed pitcher from Gwinnett to take his place on the Braves roster.

Reed had an opt-out in his Minor League deal. So, the Braves had to either bring him up this week or allow him to become a free agent.
