4 Braves Named All-Stars!
Atlanta Braves Freddie Freeman has finally received the recognition he so truly deserves from all major league fans!
Freeman not only is one of the best offensive players in the league, he also saves many runs by his defense at first base.
This is Freeman’s third time to be named as an all-star.
He is a born leader by example. Freeman’s goal is to play every game intending to win. Never give an at bat away!
Freeman is one of a few players that is not afraid to go the other way to hit to break the shift.
When he is healthy he is the Braves player that teams will pitch around.
Great player but even more a better person, husband and father!
“It’s still kinda hard to put into words.”@Braves star Freddie Freeman will be the National League’s starting first baseman in the 2018 All-Star Game. This is his third career All-Star selection. pic.twitter.com/rR4NGO0NTW

4 Braves Named All-Stars!
Nick Markakis has finally made a Major League Baseball All-Star Team.
This process has taken 13 years to accomplish.
Markakis leads by his hard work ethic and example of a team player.
He does not speak much but when he does you better listen.
This year has been enjoyable to watch Markakis have one of his best years ever of his career.
Markakis does not smile much but I have seen it a few times when the Braves have walked off with a victory celebration!
To see the fans of the MLB vote for Markakis to start the all-star game is just wonderful.
“It’s kind of emotional. I know my family and my kids are going to be ecstatic.”@Braves outfielder Nick Markakis reacts to earning his first All-Star nod in his 13th season. pic.twitter.com/GaqtvUpEon

Ozzie Albies has been a delight to watch this year.
To see his power and speed brings excitement to this Braves line-up!
Albies has played in only 145 games as a major league league player.
As of writing this post he has 18 HR and 50 extra base hits.
Quite a feat for a 5-8, 165 pound 21 year old 2B from Curacao!
This Atlanta Braves 2B will be a delight to watch for many years to come.
And as a Braves fan I hope many championships too!

The Atlanta Braves Pitcher Mike Foltynewicz has shown a lot of maturity this year.
He has been able to control his emotions on the mound when in previous years he could not finish the inning.
I believe a lot of that has to do with the birth of his child.
This 27 year old has had a great first half.
He has an ERA of 2.37 and has a total of 114 strikeouts at the time this post was written.
Congratulations to Folty and his family!

“It’s a huge honor. The main goal this year was just to be consistent, not trying to make All-Star games, just trying to go out there and win game by game for my team.”@Braves pitcher Mike Foltynewicz is heading to his first career All-Star game. pic.twitter.com/TgB1tmsee2

As a longtime Atlanta Braves fan I would like to congratulate Freddie Freeman, Nick Markakis, Ozzie Albies and Mike Foltynewicz on being selecting as All-Stars this year!
I know it must be a great honor to be selected.
Also, I would like to congratulate your families with this honor too!
Many times we only get to know the players but we all know the players families have to sacrifice a lot of time away from their husband, boyfriend, father and son!
